Tire Deadlifts

Rain was of and on today. I put out my carpet and it got soaked. Luckily I hadn't put the weights and bar outside. The rain cleared up by the afternoon. Let the Tire Deadlifts commence.

Leg Swings with band and Dynamic Stretches. 

Tire Deadlifts - (OH Grip) 3 sets/8 reps/235lbs, (OH Grip) 3 sets/6 reps/305lbs, (figure 8 straps) 2 sets/8,10 reps/355lbs.



I seriously considered doing one more set of 355lbs but my head really wasn't in it. Better than last time but leave a little for next time. Sounds like a good quote.

Presses

It's a little cooler today. All morning it rained. Great day to open the garage door and train. 

Rebounding. 

Bench Press - 2 sets/12 reps/135lbs, 225lbs/12 reps, 3 sets/7 reps/275lbs, 3 sets/6 reps/280lbs.



Standing Barbell Press - 135lbs/8 reps, 2 sets/8 reps/150lbs.


Now I gotta get a shower and get ready for my daughter's graduation dinner.

Buffalo Bar Squats

It's gonna be a busy afternoon. That means get er' done before noon.

Theragun Massage 

I put my belt on for the last set only. I moved my rack. Oriented towards the garage door. A bit of change now and again I find freshes things up. Everything felt great today. Lots of volume and not much time. Now I gotta get a shower and go to my daughter's high-school graduation.

A really good training day. The Keg was easy enough to pick up but it cut off my breathing sitting on my diaphragm. I'm really pleased with being able to move with 215lbs per hand with no belt or straps.

OH Pressing

Damn it's hot today. +35°C. I got out to the garage before it got too hot. Still it was very warm.

Rebounding - 30 minutes. 

Standing Barbell Press - 4 sets/8,8,10,10 reps/135lbs.

Viking Press - 45lbs/12 reps, 90lbs/12 reps, 135lbs/12 reps.


This is the first time using my new attachment. Not the best quality but it got the job done. I will play around with the set up. Did I mention it's HOT!!!

Tire Deadlifts

Yesterday I spent the day gardening. You would think gardening is relaxing. Don't you believe it. I got about 15k steps and about an hour of zone minutes. I burned 5,000 calories. Tough day.

Bit of goofing around today. I tried out two suits for Deadlifts. How'd it go? It sucked!

Rebounding - 30 minutes.

Tire Deadlifts - 235lbs/6 reps, 325lbs/3 reps, 415lbs/1 rep, 505lbs/1 rep (suit), 505lbs/1 rep (suit), 525lbs/1 rep (no suit +straps), 525lbs/1 rep (no suit + no straps), 435lbs/6 reps (straps), 235lbs/6 reps.






I really wanted to do better. However,  I had fun and moved some weight. Now it's getting late. Gotta eat, then shower, then bed.

Log Press

Another beautiful day. Not too hot. Pads and Log out on the driveway for some fun and games.

Push Ups - 3 sets/15 reps.

Klokov Press - 3 sets/12 reps/45lbs.

Log Press - 3 sets/6 reps/125lbs, 3 sets/6 reps/145lbs.



Not that heavy. Focused on driving the Log up hard and fast. Working on core stability. It's getting better. I'm nott there yet. Body is feeling good.

SSB Squats

Motivation was lacking today. Usually when this happens I punish myself. I wouldn't call it punishment today but I did push my boundaries past previous SSB Squat days.

I'm still having issues finding the right balance with the SSB. Strength is getting better. At least that's something. Improve a little everyday.

Deadlifts

Normal Deadlifts today. No tires. Nothing heavy. A bit of volume. It's another hot day but there's a cool breeze. Very pleasant.

It's getting late, 1810hrs and I gotta work tomorrow morning. Time to wind down for bed.

Truck Pull and Squats

Last week my friend invited me to pull a truck. Although the whole idea scared the crap out of me, the act of pulling a large truck with a harness is a "bucket list" event. The first was a large maintenance truck. It went well but I was overly cautious and nervous. My second attempt was with a transport truck. This time I threw caution to the wind and pulled hard.



Today is HOT!!! About 30°C in the shade of the garage. When I finished my shirt was soaked.

Rebounding - 30 minutes. 

Leg Swings and Dynamic Stretches. 

Squats - bar/12 reps, 135lbs/10 reps, 225lbs/8 reps, 315lbs/6 reps, 315lbs/3 reps, 315lbs/6 reps, 225lbs/10 reps.



Static Stretches. 

Burned about a million calories in the heat. Feeling good and healthy. Not really strong but I like feeling healthy.

OH Press

My stomach still feels gurgly. Lot of gas and cramps. However, my energy levels feel better today. Spent the day running around so had to do a little something this evening. 

Light Stretches. 

Klokov Press - bar/12 reps.

OH Barbell Press - 2 sets/12 reps/bar, 2 sets/6 reps/95lbs, 2 sets/6 reps/135lbs, 155lbs/6 reps, 175lbs/6 reps.



Klokov Press - bar/12 reps.

Push Ups - 3 sets/12 reps.

I'm still baby weak overhead. It'll get better. On a positive note, I'm still losing weight. 329.8lbs this morning. I changed my times for taking Contrave and it seems to be helping. I take my first dose with breakfast around 1000 - 1100hrs. The second dose I take at 1800 - 1900hrs. It's really helping with my evening cravings. So far so good.
