Heavy Bench Press today in my garage. I was still a bit sore from Squats so I took my time warming up.
Light Stretching.
Bench Press - 2 sets/12 reps/135lbs, 2 sets/6 reps/225lbs, 315lbs/7 reps, 365lbs/1 rep, 385lbs/1 rep, 400lbs/1 ugly rep. 385lbs/1 rep, 365lbs/1 rep, 365lbs/2 reps, 2 sets/4 reps/315lbs.
Dumbbell Hammer Curls - 4 sets/12 reps/42.5lbs.
This is the best 400lbs classic Bench Press I have ever done. It was a struggle and a touch and go but it certainly lines me up for some stronger presses. 365lbs lately feels light and moves quickly after a long pause. Fun times on the bench.
