Pre Tolstoi

I took Friday off from training except for 30 minutes of rebounding and some Theragun work. Saturday I went to Brickhouse again for the final touches before Battle at the Border. I did four of the five events at a lower than competition weight. I survived.

Warm Ups

Axle Clean and Press - 165lbs/5 reps in one minute.

Competition weight is 200lbs. If I can clean it, I'll press it.

Axle Deadlift - 335lbs/6 reps Opps! Wrong weight. 435lbs/3 reps.

This is the opening weight. Nothing difficult.

Sand Bag Throw - I threw a bunch of time, various weights. The bags I'll throw for competition are 20,25,30lbs. I need to wear my soft belt for this event as all the events a back heavy and I don't need any issues.

Dinnie Rings - I didn't do these. They seemed ok last week. I was able to move the competition weights ok.

Haviland Carry - I've concluded I will carry the bag first then the farmers handle. Yesterday I shouldered the 150lbs bag with relative ease and held 155lbs farmers for the distance. This is the best I've done so far. Competition day will be interesting. Competition weights are 200lbs sand bag and 185lbs Farmers.

Today I kept active with 30 minutes rebounding and Heavy Grips during.
