Sandbag and Keg

Today I spent a while moving stuff around in the garage. The idea is to help organize training leading up to the Novice Showdown. Moving around the weights was a workout in it's own. This evening the wife is out so I'm bored. Time to gain some more Sandbag and Keg experience.

Light Stretches.

Rebounding - 30 minutes.

Sandbag and Keg Work - 6 sets/various/150lbs Sandbag, 150lbs Keg.

On the first set I didn't film. I went to shoulder the bag, lost my balance and fell backwards. Lucky for me the Keg was behind me so I just sat down and threw the bag. I thought about stopping there. Nah, keep going.

I should point out that the weights being used are reduced for open and 40+ competitors. However, the weights are competitive weights for 50+ competitors. I will be able to set provincial records.
