Competition Practice

Today I went to bldg 21 to practice some of the up in coming competition events. I feel the hardest portion of the comp will be 14" Deadlifts into Farmers Walk into the Sandbag/Keg medley. Today I practiced Deadlift into Farmers.

Leg Swings and Dynamic Stretches.

Kettlebell Swings - 35lbs/20 reps, 55lbs/20 lbs.

Squats - bar/8 reps, 135lbs/8 reps, 225lbs/6 reps, 315lbs/3 reps. (Could have easily done 6 reps)

14" Deadlifts - 315lbs/6 reps, 405lbs/6 reps.

Farmers Walk - 110lbs/30'+30', 160lbs/30'+30', 210lbs/30'+30'.

Static Stretches.

That was a solid training session. I'm pleased to do the Farmers as per comp weight and distance. Speaking of distance, I brought a tape measure and marked the floor with tape. Now, no guessing how far 30' is.
